What's new on REAP

Clients use Find an artist to pick styles and see nearby artists ranked on their pieces. When one gets in touch, you get their idea, placement, size and the pieces of yours they saved.

Requests you already answered stay as they are.

Your settings toggle is now called Take enquiries. Turn it off and only your booking form or waitlist shows.

Open a booking and a Client told line says what they got: the email, and the day-before text if it's coming. Cancel dialogs say the same before you confirm.

Status words and colours now match on Home, Calendar, client history and Money. Consent shows as signed only when it covers that booking, and the next step shows up after your first confirmed booking.

The deposit button now says They paid me.

Setting up card deposits now happens right here in Reap, with what we already know filled in. Started before and got stuck? There's a card on Home and Money that picks up where you left off.

Each paid deposit shows where its payout is: clearing, on the way, or in your bank.

Need it sooner? Instant payouts send your balance to your bank in minutes, for a fee shown before you tap.

When a client messages you for the first time, you get an email right then. Before, it could take a couple of hours if you didn't have the app installed.

Unread messages after that still get one email, now within about half an hour instead of two. Still one reminder a day later, then nothing until you read.

There's a new Message emails switch under Settings if you'd rather only see messages in the app.

You decide how many blocks a day splits into. Name them what you call them, give each one a start time, and it runs until the next one starts. Set one day up, copy it across the week, then change the odd day back.

A day you don't work comes off entirely. Tap the switch on that day and it stays off.

Book someone in and the blocks that booking runs through close themselves. A nine to one session on a nine and a one day takes both, because it runs into the second one. If you reckon there's still room, tap the block open again and it stays open. It doesn't touch the booking either way.

Clients don't see any of this. They see whether a day is open, same as before.

Every email now sits on the same shell, so a booking confirmation and a deposit request read like they came from the same place.

Deposit emails lead with the amount. Appointment emails carry a card with when, where and what's owing.

Verification used to send a different email depending on which screen you were on. It's one email now.

New colours, new pins, and studios and artists no longer look like the same thing. Counts sit on a chip instead of a red blob.

Tap a pin and the artist opens halfway up, with the pin still in view, so you can keep moving down the map.

The list underneath drags to three heights, and there's a Show on map button to send you back.

One tap, no password to remember, and it works the same on the app as it does in a browser.

Every setup card has a way to say no thanks. Do that and it goes, and Home stops holding space for it.

Change your mind later and it's all still in Booking settings.

Cards that might not be there stopped reserving space for themselves, so nothing drops in and pushes the rest down.

The loading placeholders are now the shape of what's actually coming, instead of grey boxes the same colour as the page.

Quoted too low, or the session changed. As long as it hasn't been paid, tap the amount and put the right one in.

The link you already sent stops working the moment you change it, and the client gets the new one.

Cash, bank transfer, however you took it. Mark it paid and the session confirms, same as a card payment would have.

The client gets one email about it, not one for the payment and another for the confirmation.

The day before a session, at 9am, the client gets one text asking them to confirm. That's the only automatic text we send.

Bookings you created by hand were quietly skipping it. They don't now.

If a client replies stop, that's the end of it, and it doesn't touch their emails.

Enough to know if they can get there, without handing out your address to every enquiry.

Confirmation and reminder emails both carry it now, so nobody has to go looking.

The wizard used to run off the bottom of the screen on smaller phones. It stays inside it now.

Home explains what a request is and opens it, instead of leaving people to find it.

Plenty of clients came in through a booking link and never set a password. They can get back to their bookings now without one.

We went through every screen. Fonts, colours, corners and spacing now come from one set instead of each page doing its own thing, so nothing feels like a different app depending on where you are.

Every field, dropdown and checkbox sits in a recessed well, and there's one accent button per screen. The thing you're meant to tap is the only thing wearing colour. Status colours mean the same thing everywhere: amber is waiting on someone, green is done, red is a problem.

Navigation is five tabs that never move: Home, Inbox, Calendar, Clients, Your page. The header names the screen you're on and owns the back arrow, so you always know where you are and how to get out. Setup is a place you go to now rather than a card following you around.

Every card of yours that someone actually sees counts as an impression: Explore, the map, search, the home feed. Profile views and individual work views are counted separately, so you can tell "people saw me" apart from "people looked at me".

Two windows sit side by side, last 30 days and all time. Counting stopped working back in March and only started again this week, so the all time figure is the older history and the 30 day figure is the new capture. Months that were never counted are marked rather than drawn as zero.

Market demand at the bottom is national, from what clients pick in the style quiz. Same figure for everyone, useful if you're deciding what to draw next.

The chips across the top are ordered by what actually turns up, and each row leads with its state, so you can see what needs you without opening anything.

Rows tell each other apart by shape rather than a long word, dates read the same way down the whole list, and the person's name is on the row instead of "Someone".

Instagram only contributes actual enquiries now, not your whole DM folder. Messages notify once and send once, and an opening message no longer sends itself twice.

No more picking your way into a date. You land on the month, tap a day, go.

The confirm page puts the session, the deposit and the terms in one place, so there's one thing to read before you send it.

Location saves properly now, with a tick beside the field so you know it took.

The deposits list has the action on the row now. Marking it collected confirms the booking, same as it does from inside the session.

Tapped the wrong one, undo it on the spot.

The deposit terms block is named, and the payment methods no longer pretend to be equal when they aren't.

Any finished session can get a review request. Before, it only counted if the deposit went through Stripe.

Clients who are signed in can leave the review straight from their account instead of hunting for the link.

The Reviews page stopped claiming it sent a link when it hadn't.

When you create a booking, flip on Request a deposit and pick how you're taking it. Send a payment link and you'll know the second it's paid. Handle it outside REAP and the booking sits as awaiting a deposit until you tap Mark paid.

Marking it paid confirms the booking, same as a card payment does, and it counts towards a review request once the session is done.

The payment link is still the easy one: the client can pay from their phone and you get told straight away.

Your link is under Tools > Invite an artist. Send it however you like, the share button has it ready to go.

When someone signs up through it and subscribes, their first month is free and a month's credit lands on your bill automatically. No cap, every artist you bring in stacks another month.

You can see who you've invited and what's been credited on the same screen.

Add them under Tools > Session types. Name it, set the hours, and put a cost on it if you want. Full day, half day, small piece, whatever you actually book.

Tap one when booking and it sets the length and the cost in one go. The cost sits on the appointment where you and your studio can see it. Clients never see it, anywhere.

Your bookings week view adds up the costs on what is coming up, so you can see what the rest of the week is worth.

Tap a booking from the list or the calendar and it slides up in a sheet. Close it and you are exactly where you left off.

Requests, consent submissions and client history work the same way, and deposit links land on the right booking.

Open a client and edit their name, phone or email. Handy when someone filled the form with a typo or switched numbers.

It only changes your contact record. If they have an account, their own details stay theirs.

Sheets, steps and menus ease in and out properly now instead of snapping. Loading skeletons match what they load into, so the page does not jump when content lands.

Small stuff, but you feel it everywhere.

Start from your events and you get a few short steps: pick the type, search in case someone already added it, drop in the venue, then say whether you are organizing it or just working it.

If you are working it you pick how you are set: looking for clients, taking walk-ups, or booked. That shows on the event page so people know who to message. Being on the lineup is opt in, so listing an event does not put your name on it.

Organizers can edit the details, type an address by hand when search cannot find the venue, and delete the event if it falls through.

Every upcoming event has its own page with the dates, the venue and the lineup, so you can send the link to clients.

The events page is public, so anyone can look at what is coming up without an account. Yours stay under Dashboard > Events.

Tap anything in the list to read a bit more about it. The dot goes away once you have opened it, and only genuinely new things bring it back.

Everything below this was shipped before the list existed, so it is here as history rather than news.

Open Settings and connect Google Calendar. From then on every appointment you create writes an event, and any change you make to the time, date or client flows through within a few seconds.

Deleting a booking now removes the event too, so your calendar stops filling up with ghosts. Internal notes stay in the app and never end up in the event description.

Add the block in the page builder and pick from documents already on your account. No re-uploading, and updating the document updates what clients see.

Sheets now behave the way they do in a native app: they spring in, and you can flick them down to close instead of hunting for the X.

Generic loading spinners were replaced with the REAP ink mark, and taps on iOS carry haptics.

Delete lives in the block's config sheet. Open the block, scroll to the bottom, delete. It now works for every block type.

The Tools hub now has a direct row into the builder, so editing your public page is one tap from where you already are.

Warnings, errors and confirmations were drifting into slightly different colours depending on which screen you were on. They all read from the same tokens now, so a warning looks like a warning everywhere.

Toasts, banners and status chips came along with it.

Clients browsing for an artist get a full height list, faster markers on the map, and images that load in a sensible order.

Anyone submitting through a form with verification off still landed in your requests, but no email went out, so one could sit there for days before you noticed.

Those now notify you like every other request.

If an answer was missing, tapping submit did nothing you could see, and people assumed the form was broken and gave up.

Errors now show on the field itself and the form jumps to the first one.

Client records belong to one business, but tagging and reminders now follow who can reach the client rather than who owns the record.

Notes stay private to whoever wrote them.

Front desk bookings now create studio-owned contacts automatically, so the list fills itself as you work.

Each note records who wrote it, and stays visible only to them.

Built for conventions and QR codes: scan, swipe about twenty cards, get told what you are into, then send a request to artists who work in that style.

The requests land in your inbox like any other.

Open Clients and use Import. It reads most common header names, fills in blanks on people you already have, and skips exact duplicates rather than creating a second record.

A request takes three short screens. The person gets an email with a durable link to check on it, and can create an account later if they want to.

Attention items are split into Needs attention, Reminders and Recent. Rows click straight through to the booking.

Remind me now takes tomorrow, three days, day-of, or a custom number of hours.

The Policies page was folded into the Client portal page, so there is one place to edit what clients see.

Verification cuts out junk, but it also loses people who never open the email. There is a switch on the booking form card in Tools, so you pick which trade you want.

Leave it on and nothing changes. Turn it off and the form submits immediately.

Deposit and request emails now carry a preview of the reference images the client sent, and every link opens the exact request instead of dropping you on a dashboard.

Replies go to whoever is on the other end rather than a no-reply address.

Every appointment has a work panel that holds notes and reference images, and it is the same panel wherever you open the booking from.

Clients never see your notes.

Consent forms, SMS reminders, QR codes, rates and your booking form all sit under Tools now instead of being scattered.

Explore was also fetching the same list three times on every load. It fetches once now, caches it, and paints the map markers before the rest of the data arrives.

The ordering fix means scrolling gets you new artists instead of the ones you just saw.

Picking an accent used to change the buttons and nothing else, so pages ended up looking half themed.

It carries through the smaller marks now, and gets nudged automatically when the colour you picked would be unreadable on your background.

These exist to pull search traffic that ends up on artist pages. They link through to style pages and to artists working in that style.

Saved images live in the client's account and are the obvious thing to reference when they finally send a request.

The map sheet opens into a full-screen grid of work from every artist, and tapping an image drops you into a feed you can keep scrolling.

Each image has its own URL, so a link to a piece opens on that piece.

The old dashboard was a stack of cards with no obvious next thing to do. It leads with the week's calendar now, plus a quick-actions row where every button says what it is.

Book is the only filled button on the page, so the main action is never a guess.

Submissions live on their own tab and conversations on another, and both carry a count, so you can see what is waiting without opening either.

The confirmation renders inside the embed, so someone booking from your site stays on your site.

Add the waitlist block in the page builder and it can take over as the main action on your page, so people have somewhere to go other than a booking form.

Bigger images, clearer pricing, and a straighter path from a design to a request for that design.

Add a section, drop blocks into it, and reorder. Sections can be collapsed so a long page still scans.
