✶ Ink splatter ✶ This abstract blastover project was a fun challenge, initially I tried to create the ink texture with pencil and tracing paper. But it didn’t feel real enough, so I picked up gouache and created splatter patterns which I then turned into stencils to apply directly to the arm. The design changed throughout the process, with some textures added and some removed depending on what felt right. The piece also needed to function as a partial blastover on an older tattoo.
